Just signed up for my next race, which will be Hells Hills on April 3rd. That gives me a couple of weeks to do alittle running and a couple of weeks to taper. The legs feel pretty good right now as I have spent the past 2 days on my spin bike. The legs have enjoyed the motion without the pounding they have taken for the past few months. With a 60 miler and a 32 miler last weekend I figured I might as well keep running every month or so while I got the endurance base down. Now I'm just hoping for good temps and dry weather for race day.
It's good to have a race to look forward to so I can keep my mind focused on training. When I have no race to look forward to, I sometimes start to lose it.
