I ran the Big D marathon on a very warm and sunny day, finished in 4:30 which was really good for a brutal day. The Hoka running shoes were just as amazing on the roads. I felt great the following week.

Went to Las Vegas for a guys weekend and did some gambling, eating and of course some golf.

I got Mono after I got back so took about a week off from running. Now I feel better and I'm starting to get some goals for the rest of the year.
I'll start with El Scorcho 50k on July 17th, Capt'n Karls 60k on Aug. 27th, Run with the Ducks 8 hour run on Sept. 25th, and then Pumpkin Holler Hunnerd on October 15-16th!

Sounds like a good course for me, no ROOTS! Now I just need to find someone to keep me awake for the last 31 miles and we are in business! We shall see how it goes!

You've been busy! Hope you are taking care of yourself.... mono likes to stick around.
Lots of fun races coming your way. You didn't mention specifically the distance that you'll be running at the Pumpkin Holler Hunnerd.... the Hunnerd?
Woo hoo for Hunnerd! Can't wait to hear about that training - wow!
